WELCOME TO NEW NEIGHBOR GREETINGS
New Neighbor Greetings is a Town of Amherst-based community welcoming service. The only one of its kind in the area. We provide community awareness in the zip code areas of 14221, 14068 and 14051 for the Towns of Amherst and Clarence. We personally advertise for the local businesses and professionals in the medical, dental, commercial and beauty-care fields. We greet new homeowners in the privacy of their home within the first six months of their move, to inform them about the new community in which they moved, and the businesses that surround them. Gifts are presented to them and an offer to stop in and shop local is a highlight of our visit.

To ease our newest community members' transition into their new neighborhoods, while bolstering the visibility of our existing area merchants and businesses. We do this by personally visiting each new mover in their home within six months of their move. We present them with Amherst maps and community information as well as distribute to them the free gifts given by local businesses.
